Wheelchairs
HIS Foundation has partnered with the American Christian organization “Free Wheelchair Mission” since 2006 to donate wheelchairs to the needy in Henan, Yunnan and Sichuan areas. Volunteers from the United States, Australia and China Hong Kong see to the assembling and distribution of the wheelchairs in the respective areas. The wheelchairs are simple and practical; costing around ¥ 400 each. They are specially designed to extend mobility to improve their quality of life of the physically challenged and alleviate the burden of their family members.
